It is equipped with 2 grinding stations designed for a broad range of applications. Each grinding station has a 30 ml capacity and can have extra strong centrifugal acceleration up to 95g and up to 1100 rpm. Due to self-lock clamping feature extremely fast bowl changing can be done.
This machine is ideally suited for loss-free grinding down to a final fineness of 100nm of hard, medium-hard and brittle materials. Depending on the desired final fineness, the grinding can be performed dry, in suspension, or in inert gas. In addition to comminution, planetary mills for mixing and homogenizing emulsions and pastes or for mechanical activation and alloying in materials research.
Flow strength of the material should be enough in order to make it powder. The setup works upto 1100 rpm only.
